By way of being egalitarian in my work and having used Barbie dolls for my piece ‘Face Masks and Body Wraps’, currently exhibited at Warrington Museum and Art Gallery, I’m now working with Action man dolls-it’s work in progress and here’s the first piece, hope you like it!

It’s called ‘Do unto others….’ 34 x 13.5 x 13.5 cm

Ken, on the left, isn’t quite as toned as the Action Man dolls, I wonder why?

Just a few days until Cross Street Open Studios! Preview Friday with an exciting new exhibition and music from TVAM. Don’t miss it!

October in my studio.

Autumn’s arrived and with fewer distractions I’m loving being back in my studio playing with my stuff.

Great evening at Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival! Lots to see, I’d highly recommend a visit.

Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival 2015

Really pleased to hear I’ve three pieces selected for WCAF15

Dear Jane,

Thank you for entering the 2015 Warrington Contemporary Open. We received nearly 300 submissions this year, a record number for the Festival. It was a very challenging task for our panel of judges to narrow down the selections for the final exhibition.

I am pleased to inform you that the judges have selected all three of the pieces you submitted for the Open:

Women’s work is never done (female deity workbox)
Ladies for the Afterlife
Face Masks and Body Wraps (21st century Shabti)
